9 ThingsTo Ask For on Your Air Conditioning Estimate

  • What size air conditioner do I need?
Every air conditioning company should do a heat load on your house. This gives us the information we need to ensure you are getting the right size (tonnage) air conditioner.

  • Can the current duct work be used?
At the time of your estimate, all air conditioning companies should look at your duct work. If it is in good condition, no problem, it can, and often is reused.

  • Are there any new technologies I should consider?
The air conditioning industry has come a long way. There are now "smart" or WiFi thermostats. They can notify you if your system is not working properly and a lot of other cool stuff.

  • Will my new air conditioner be energy efficient?
You will want to talk to your HVAC company and ask about SEER.  The higher the SEER. the more energy efficient your air conditioner will be.

  • What brands do you offer?
Most companies will sell you any brand you want. At Emery Air and Heat, we believe your value is derived not from the brand of air conditioner you choose, but the company you choose to do business with.

  • Do you handle all permits?
Yes! We submit all paperwork and pull any permits needed. No worries for you!

Yes! We have a few different options. We try and meet every customers needs.

  • How long does it take to install a new system?

  • Are you licensed, bonded and insured?
Yes! Do not let anybody do any work in your home unless they are.
